Mark Phillips is a well-respected consultant specialising in the investigation of Fires, Explosions and incidents of a Mechanical Engineering nature. He founded Phillips Forensic Science and Engineering
in 2013 after 18 years as a Partner at Burgoynes.
Since 1989, I have undertaken well over 1000 investigations – in the United Kingdom and around the world – for loss adjusters, insurers, solicitors and many others. I have frequently given evidence as an Expert Witness in civil and criminal courts, and to domestic and international arbitration tribunals. I have been engaged as a 'single joint expert' and have given concurrent evidence (‘hot tubbing’).
